India and Pakistan face off in March

The cricketing fans will see arch rivals India and Pakistan face each other at in March. India will go against Pakistan in the Champions Trophy 2017 in England.

Asian Cricket Committee has organised the Emerging Cup to be held in Bangladesh. Known as an Under 23 tournament, all teams participating in the tournament can have national players regardless of their age.

Apart from India and Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, UAE, Hong Kong and Nepal will take part in the tournament. The tournament will start from 15th March at Cox Bazaar and will go on till 26th. He said: “Yes, India would be sending a team to the tournament. It’s an ACC tournament and so we would go there. This is not a bilateral India-Pakistan series, and so this is different.”

The Indian team will play four test matches against Australia in the same period. This will give a chance for the Indian selectors to test out new players and give them exposure. The other teams will try and do the same by giving youngsters a chance.

It should be a strong competition between two top teams of Asia. It will give a chance for teams to showcase their talent to the world. A match between the two subcontinent giants will surely be a mouthwatering clash.
