MS Dhoni’s Best Innings in ODI


MS Dhoni played one of the best innings in ODI history. He played this innings during the first One day International at Chennai against Pakistan. India got off to a worse start losing Virender Sehwag, Virat Kohli, Gautuam Gambhir , Yuvraj Singh and Rohit Sharma at the score of 29 in the first 10 overs.

Mahendra Singh Dhoni came to the crease and put on 73 runs for the sixth wicket with Suresh Raina. MS Dhoni showed his class with bat by playing well with the tail. Mahendra Singh Dhoni took a while to settle. He completed his century with a six and remained not out on 113 off 125 balls. His century ensured that India reached a competitive total of 227 for 6. MS Dhoni’s brilliant knock during the first ODI against Pakistan showed his ability to play under pressure.

Chasing this target, Pakistan lost 2 early wickets but Nasir Jamshed century ensured that the visitors won the match by 6 wickets with 11 balls to spare.
