Mujeeb Ur Rahman alias Mujeeb Zardan, an established cricketer who plays for Afghanistan National Cricket Team. This well-known Afghanistan cricketer was born on 28th March 2001

in Afghanistan’s eastern province of Khost with birth sign Aries. His dark brown eyes are admired by his fans. Zadran completed his higher studies from Kabul University, Kabul, Afghanistan. His love life is still suspense for everyone as he never says anything about it and let people be unknown to it.

He is a stunning cricketer with a great height of 5’7’’ and weight 65 kg(s) belonging to the Hindu religion. It is phrased that he has been born with a golden spoon as he lived inside a big compound area around which there was a huge space to play. There was also a zoo type of a set-up made inside their compound where the family reared animals with a dozen of guest- houses to it. He would have still wished for his father to be around though but life is never what we expect it to be. We can only make it better and so he did.

At such a young age of 18, he plays best with his dedication and passion for cricket. Mujeeb is perceptible as the first male cricketer to play the International Cricket who was born in the 21st Century. He took 5 wickets in an international match recognizing him the youngest player to get a 5-wicket haul in an international Match after 2 months of his debut just at the age of 17 in February 2018 beating the record previously organized by a Pakistani bowler Waqar Younis, who took his first at 18 years. Mujeeb is the nephew of Noor Ali Zadran, who was another famous member of Afghanistan’s national cricket team. He was one of the 11 cricketers to play in Afghanistan’s first ever Test Match, against India, in June 2018. It was also his first-class cricket debut.

His uncle Noor Ali Zardan is a right-hand batsman and right-arm medium pacer, currently a part of the Afghan cricket team. He quotes Ricky Ponting as his inspiration and cricketing hero. Ali made his international debut for the Afghanistan U-17 team against UAE in 2004. Ali made his Twenty20 debut for Afghanistan in the 2007 ACC Twenty20 Cup against Oman.

Zardan has a great record in an international career in international cricket. He is an off-break spinner and a right-handed batting. He took 20 wickets in just 5 matches and as a consequence of his mind-blowing performance the Afghan cricket team mentioned his name in the tri-series squad held at Ireland once. He has a great talent of bowling traditional off spin along with mixing up with leg spin and ripping googlies.

At such a young age, he got an opportunity to play with Kings XI Punjab where Rs. 50 Lakhs was a base price set by him but nobody knew that there was going to be serious competition between the Delhi Daredevils and the Kings XI Punjab to obtain the services of the youthful from Afghanistan. They knew that if Rashid Khan and Mohammad Nabi could do it, so could Mujeeb. The deal was finally done at Rs 4.00 Crore when Sehwag and Preity Zinta finally took him away from the Daredevils. Delhi had bid Rs 3.80 Crore, KXIP increased it to Rs 4.00 Crore, which the Daredevils thought was too expensive thinking he was just a rookie but after creating a beat in the IPL 2018 with his variations, it was proved to be a business as usual for Afghanistan 17-year-old off-spinner Mujeeb Ur Rahman against Bangladesh in the first T20 in Dehradun. Coming out of the shadows of senior spinners like Mohd. Nabi and Rashid Khan, stunning spinner Mujeeb bowled an eye-catching delivery to send Tamim Iqbal back off the very first ball of the innings. Getting 14 wickets in 11 games, Mujeeb, who has played 15 ODIs and three T20s for Afghanistan, did show glimpses of intelligence.
